We had our first semi-cold day here in Texas. We were excited, so we took Mia out into the neighborhood for some pictures. YES, I put her in a tutu! I promise I haven’t turned all the way foo-foo when it comes to dressing her. I still despise all of those glittery, rhinestoney, princessy, poofy outfits for girls. My only foo-foo exception are tutus. I’m having to scrounge through her drawers these days to find clothes to put her in for pictures. I wish I could buy her a new outfit for every session, but considering I take pictures of her every month I don’t think Daddy would be happy if I bought her something new every time. lol. Every time a package shows up on the doorstep, he gives me this face like “What did you buy for Mia now?” So this is what we came up with. Funky, fun and colorful. I love her little cardigan from American Apparel.
I came up with my own b&w photoshop action for these. Once I can make it work correctly every time I might offer it up for sale.

That funny scrunching up the nose face with huffing and puffing through her nose is exactly what little Miss Morgan is doing now – it’s so funny! If you do it to her, she will do it back to you.
the classic 9 month duck face! love it. my baby girl did it at this age too.
Oh lord! Can’t wait for glitter all over the house!
LOVE that face! Johanna, I said all the same things about the princess foo foo stuff…I HATE it…but Ava LOVES it!! She is obsessed with princesses, tutu’s, and anything sparkly…. ugh!! But what can you do!? This is just the first of many moments where I have realized your child has a mind of their own! lol
Aubrey (my youngest) made that same face and huffing puffing noise to go with it at this age! I have so many pictures of her doing it!
Little girl in tutus are adorable!
