Welcome to the New Blog!

On Friday I made the impulsive decision to upgrade my blog. Little did I know it would take almost a week to redesign and organize.  It’s been a headache. I’m still not even all the way done. It’s all worth it though. There are lots of changes I made that are going to make my life way easier! Some of the new things I love are the slideshow galleries (I no longer have to manually put every picture in my posts one by one), sidebar links linking to my favorite places on the web and to things I will be selling soon, new menu buttons (designed by yours truly) and an integrated portfolio (yellow menu button above). I’ve noticed that the slideshow doesn’t work all of the time right now. I’m working on getting that fixed.

As many of you know I might not be doing sessions for anyone other than my immediate and extended family next year. Read more about that here. That is one of the reasons I changed my blog. It’s slowly becoming more of a family/design blog than a business blog, so the changes I made are geared towards that. Don’t worry, it isn’t going to just be Mia and her new sister on here all day everyday. I’ll be squeezing in some cousins and friends too along with some design work and “artsy craftsy” stuff.

Here are some Fall sneak peeks for you. It was a very busy weekend for me. Matt was out of town and I had 3 sessions. Two in Conroe on Friday and Saturday and then I had to rush back to Austin for one on Sunday evening. I had to arrange for 3 different babysitters for each of the 3 sessions! Ah, the life of being a working mom. All of this having to plan ahead for babysitters business is still new to me.
