11 months later. . . . . .

If you follow my blog, you might remember the picture on the bottom that I took a when I was pregnant with Ausha. I thought it would be cute to do the same picture 11 months later.

Judging by their size, my girls almost look like real twins in this picture. Mia is still really tiny. She’s only in the 2 percentile for weight and 15% for height. She weighs a whopping 20 lbs. Ausha, being in the 40 percentile (all around) is catching up to Mia very quickly. Both girls wear the same size clothes and diaper right now. It’s quite convenient. Personality Updates: They are polar opposites. Mia is an independent, strong-willed, little terror. I think her expression in the picture shows it quite well. In between the kisses she gives her little sister, she is constantly pushing her over, trying to kick her and stealing her toys. Ausha being calm, sweet, cuddly and sensitive doesn’t handle it all that well. Are you getting the idea of what goes on around here all day? Constant surveillance and a lot of crying. 🙂 Also, Ausha started crawling last week, which explains my lack of blog posts lately. If I could use one word to describe what raising Irish Twins is like, I would say it is “busy”. I honestly only have 2 hours to myself a day and those hours are from 8:30-10:30pm after both girls are in bed. So if I haven’t called or written you lately, please don’t be offended. I’m on 24 hour baby duty. All in all though it’s a blast. I love watching these little people grow.

  • Amber Hill - OMG! This is the CUTEST!!!

  • Natalie - I laughed out loud when I read this! Chloe and Mia seem very similar as are Cale and Ausha! I swear you just described my two perfectly! Lol love those two!! I can’t wait to meet them!!!

  • Kersandra - They look so much alike at 7months. It’s crazy cute!!!

  • Laura - Such a sweet photo – I love that you recreated the classic from before with Ausha on the outside! My daughter is Mia’s age and she is also going around pushing kids over (even tries to do it to teenagers!). Sharing is NOT in her vocabulary. It’s annoying, but hang in there. At some point the sweetness promises to return.

  • Liz - Absolutely adorable!!!! Have a blast!!

  • The Kennedys - Just adorable!!!! I know you are certainly busy! The girls are so precious. I love how different they are…one dark headed and one blonde with curls.

  • MIchelle - They are gorgeous!!!!! I have one (15 months) and he is not a sleeper so, I totally understand the only having 1 hour a day for ourselves…..want another one…but am a little scared.

  • Christy - Adorable! They look so much alike at 7 months! And I love Mia’s hair – a lot like Taylor’s!

  • Keri - I cannot believe they wear the same size clothes!!! Stay strong girl..I promise it will get easier!! (even with Irish twins)! Love how 7 mo Ausha is wearing same dress as 7 mo Mia! ❤

  • Joyce DZ - Your little girls are gorgeous!

  • Anna - This is absolutely fantastic! I have an 18 month old that (I SWEAR) is the boy version of Mia with blonde hair and blue eyes, and I have a 5 month old that could be Ausha’s twin as well. My house is VERY similar to yours right now. 🙂

  • Heather - I am SO excited that you took this picture! LOVE it! I bet you were counting down the days to do this. {How did you get them to both sit still for so long?} Awesome mommy powers! =)

  • johanna - Silvina, forgive me if my response doesn’t answer your question, but I take the pictures, not my husband. He doesn’t have one artistic bone in his body! Haha. You have SIX kids? WOW. You are busy. I cannot imagine. I feel overwhelmed with just two kids.

“Johana goodnight, I am a mother of 6 children of all ages do not understand the concept of Irish twins but I gather that you should refer to when the brothers have little time between them, my first 3 children were very planedos therefore take 5 years between each one does not advise, however the last 3 take less and although the stages of lactation and elsueño and diapers crawling and wandering or so it says here in Argentina today were terrible play and fight together sharing much more than older children, so I understand the enormous job satisfaction impica but exceeds all expectations and that certainly is reflected in his photography work but still not clear to me if you or your spouse who takes photos, you send a hug and see you soon.”

  • Amanda Keeys - TOO darn cute! Love that you re-created this shot (was one of my favs of yours). I can only imagine how crazy busy you must be with two littles so close in age. My two closest are 17 mos apart and I thought that was a little hard in the early stages! 🙂 Of course with six I am crazy busy anyway, but at least the bigger ones can help me out sometimes 🙂

  • johanna - I thought for sure with 6 kiddos you had to have at least two that were as close together as mine. I just can’t imagine how busy your are.

  • kaufen nike air max 90 sale - Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to make your point. You definitely know what youre talking about, why waste your intelligence on just posting videos to your weblog when you could be giving us something enlightening to read?

  • michael kors fulton logo red large satchels - Hmm is anyone else encountering problems with the pictures on this blog loading? I’m trying to figure out if its a problem on my end or if it’s the blog. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
