These two. They were amazing! I loved their outfits & personalities. 🙂 We had a great time. We lucked out with the weather. It was nice and warm. It was a tad windy, but I’ll take that over cold any day. Thanks again you two & congrats on your engagement.

I tried something different here. Not sure how I feel about it. Kinda cool I suppose.

Now THIS girl can pull off some red lipstick. Love it.

This is THE Nancy Wyatt, my most generous blog commenter and photography fan. She finally talked her hubby in to a session with me. They tied it together with Valentines Day for a nice weekend getaway from Conroe, TX. So glad we were finally able to make it happen. Thanks again Nancy! 🙂

I thought some love cookies for their Valentines getaway weekend fit in well.

Nancy just started up her own photography business so I snapped a shot of her with her camera.

Meet my husband’s BFF and his soon-to-be awesome wife. They did great during their session. They held all of the 500 two minute long kissing poses I made them do without one complaint. I honestly think they kinda liked it 😉 They also put up with me saying “just one more” 6,000 times. Even after they found out that “one more” really meant “50 more”. And when I said we were done, drove 10 minutes towards home then veered off the road to another picture location for 20 more pictures, they still didn’t mind. Thanks you two for being so laid back and for putting up with me. I had a great time. Let’s just hope my “accidental” vandalism didn’t get caught on surveillance tape and Misha doesn’t get West Nile!

P.S. Be sure not to miss the very last picture 🙂

Later that night after pictures were really done ;), Erik used the word “lucky” quite a bit as he raved about Misha to Matt and I. I’m glad I used it as a backdrop!

I got a little experimental with my camera settings.

**In their defense — I will say that I made them do the silly poses below 🙂 I’m glad I did too because their pretty funny. I love Misha’s far left pose and Erik’s jump.

Drum roll………

Yay! What a wonderful surprise ending. Well….a surprise to you, my blog readers. Not to Erik and Misha. These two eagerly planned for this sweet baby. They couldn’t be more excited to be parents. And they are going to be great ones! They’re already naturals. Saturday morning I woke up and walked in to my living room to find that Misha had already gotten Mia out of her crib, changed her diaper, gotten her sippy cup and was turning on cartoons. It was awesome. We might have to have them up more often so we can sleep in. 😉 HA! Just kidding. No not really.

Congrats again you two!

Maternity & newborn pictures coming soon……..

We walked for miles in the Texas heat in 20 mph wind with no water. Andrew lugged around what was nearly an entire wardrobe. We forgot to bring the entire bag full of props we were planning to use. We stopped 47 times for Jessica to switch from her high heels to her flip flops and we nearly got hit by a car about 8 times. By the end of their 5 hour session we were all exhausted and needed a beer. BUT it was all worth it and we had fun. Congrats to my sister-in-law & her hubby-to-be. They’re getting married this Fall in the beautiful state of Pennsylvania, where Andrew is from. We can’t wait!

Do they win for hottest couple award or what?

This one below was Andrew’s idea. When he suggested it I didn’t second guess it at all because I trust his creative eye. He’s an amazingly talented videographer!

Every time I look at this one I laugh because it was risky to take. It was hard for Andrew to relax because he was the one in charge of making sure we didn’t get hit. The out-takes are hilarious!

And the one below as Jessica’s idea. Awesomeness! 🙂 This is what they do at home most nights.
