I can’t say enough good things about how this session went. Shannon truly understands how to make a photographer happy. She did everything right. From booking her session even before Evelyn was born, telling me to stylize their session around whatever it was that inspired me (which is good lighting, a happy baby and families that show true emotion during sessions), to booking another session 5 minutes after receiving her proofs from this session. Could a photographer ask for anything better? Thanks Oroscos for just being you in front of the camera. Yall did awesome. I can’t wait until next November. πŸ™‚

I’ve been photographing this fam for almost 4 years now. Wow. Time flies. I truly love photographing them because of how natural they are in front of the camera. It really makes a difference in how the pictures turn out when both parents (especially Dad) put an effort in to have fun and just be themselves. We’ve done all stylized sessions in the past so this time we switched it up and did a lifestyle shoot, which have quickly become my favorite these days. We met at Landa Park in New Braunfels, rode the train, fed the ducks and just had a good time trying to keep up with Colton. He is so funny and gave me almost every facial expression he had. Since baby #2 is due next Spring, these are the last photos they’ll have as a family of three so they were special memories πŸ™‚ I’m happy I got to capture them.

Other favorite.

It always such a shock to see how much kids change after not seeing them for a couple years. I hadn’t seen little Dahlia since her last sessionΒ when she was 9 months old. This time I also got to meet her new little bro. He was a busy boy and hard to catch, but I let is slide bc he was so cute πŸ˜‰

You know those kids that are so happy and laid back that you find yourself asking the parents “Has your baby ever cried?” That is Brady. I can honestly say that this was the smoothest running, easiest session I have ever done. His mom Amy, who I went to high school with surprised me with the red piano. Brady loved it and after every song he played he would take his hat off like he was saying “Tah-dah!”. It was too cute.
