These two were married at a charming place called Soap’s Place in San Saba, Texas. Everything turned out nicely. I’ve never met such an easy going, beautiful couple. I know the bride’s name is Luana, but she could easily go by the name Jennifer Lopez or Catherine-Zeta Jones. 🙂 Can you see it? She is stunning. Congrats again Luana & Paul. Thank you for choosing me to document your special day. And thanks to Regina Collier for being an excellent second shooter. She grabbed some shots of the guys getting ready for me & thankfully was able to get my husband’s truck pulled out of the ditch and make it back to the wedding before it started. HAHA! And thanks to Daniel Grove for the great OCF tips.
These two love birds got hitched on a rainy day in Dobbin, Texas at the beautiful Olde Dobbin Station. Although their original plans to getting married in the gorgeous industrial outdoor building didn’t happen due to a flash flood watch, they were both still in great spirits. The wedding turned out to be so fun. Thanks to my BF Heather Weaver for assisting me 🙂
As many of you know I am now offering weddings again! When Renee emailed me asking to photograph her elopement I jumped at the chance. Starting with something small was the perfect to ease back into doing weddings. They flew in from Montana for an intimate elopement. How awesome! I just loved all her handmade details and her style. I mean LOOK at those shoes!! Just gorgeous.
We started at the Driskill Hotel in downtown Austin where we grabbed some pre-ceremony couples shots. Then we headed over to Chapel Dulcinea for the actual ceremony then finished with more pictures afterwards. The whole entire day was supposed to be rainy so I came prepared with rainy day/umbrella pose ideas in my head. Every time I looked down at my forecast on my phone is showed it would start raining in the next hour. This happened every hour until 9pm. It never rained! We lucked out.
Thanks again Renee & Bob for choosing me to capture your special day. I really enjoyed it. Best of luck to you two.
These names are all their ghost guests 🙂 A few celebrities even made an appearance.
Renee chose to have an elephant there to represent their love because elephants stay together forever. So sweet.
